My Hens
I eat a lot of eggs. At some point I started wondering where my food actually came from and what the hens behind it were eating. The best way I could think of to know for sure was to raise them myself.
So I built Pine and Poultry on 5.25 acres of red pine forest. Our hens are fed well, they’re happy, and they have plenty of room to run around, scratch through the pines, and look for natural food. When they’re done exploring, they head back to a big, cozy barn.
What started as one man’s curiosity became a small farm that feeds friends, family, and neighbors. Every egg is something I’d be proud to put on my own plate, because it already is.
